Jared Hawkins joined Atlas Insurance in 2011 after six years in the commercial banking industry. Jared is a “double-Gator,” having earned his bachelor’s degree in finance in 2004 and his master’s in business administration in 2010 from the University of Florida.

Jared brings an extensive knowledge of underwriting and a deep understanding of financial statements to his clients, an ideal combination for the contractor who does bond work or the business owner that needs an insurance specialist who truly understands the demands of the modern business world.

In his free time, Jared enjoys fishing, hunting, boating, diving, or anything in the outdoors. He is also a long-time volunteer with Mote Marine and sits on the board of directors for the Sarasota Sportsmen’s Association, and is active in his church.
