Michael Howard, a third-generation insurance agent at Atlas, follows in the footsteps of his grandfather, Bruce Howard, and his father, Darren Howard. Specializing in Nonprofit Insurance, Michael adds a personalized approach to Atlas Insurance Agency’s services, leveraging his background in risk management and client-focused strategy. Since joining in 2015 after earning his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, Michael has earned designations as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), and Certified Workers Compensation Advisor (CWCA) as well as licenses in property, casualty, life, and health insurance.

Michael is a Christian, a proud husband, and a father of two boys. His strong ties to Sarasota, dedication to volunteering, and deep understanding of the community’s needs make him a valuable asset to Atlas.
